Fight poverty next pay day!

A pledge of just £5 per month could provide 20 fuel-efficient stoves in Sudan, providing hope and security for families living in poverty.

Payroll Giving is the easiest way for you to give to Practical Action through your monthly salary and it provides Practical Action with a sustainable flow of funding, ensuring that we can continue our vital work across the developing world, to alleviate poverty through the development of technology.

How do I set up a regular payroll donation to Practical Action?

Donating through payroll giving is simple and convenient, and you can set this up in 2 simple ways:

  1. Complete our online form  and we’ll do the rest (no bank details are required)

  2. Download the postal form  then complete and hand to your HR/Payroll department

How does it work?

You specify a donation amount, which is deducted from your monthly pay packet, before tax. Because it's taken before tax, the amount you pledge actually costs you less!

Running a Payroll Giving Scheme
To run a Payroll Giving (or Give As You Earn) Scheme, you will need to register your organisation with a Payroll Giving Agency. A full list of approved agencies can be found on the Inland Revenue website.

Once registered, all you need to do is send the completed donation forms to your chosen agency and they'll do the rest.

What's in it for you?

If you pledge £5 a month, it will actually only cost you, the payroll giver, £4.00 per month!

If you agree to support Practical Action through Payroll Giving, you can be sure that you will be contributing to a valuable method of fundraising for our work.
